Father Nigel Woollen
Father Nigel Woollen is a priest of Westminster diocese (England), currently based in a parish in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. He studied biblical theology in Rome, and was ordained at the shrine of St John Vianney, Curé of Ars, in 1996. After working in retreat centres in France and Italy, he was involved with Knock Shrine for fifteen years, first as chaplain and later as curate.
He is the author of three books published by Veritas:

Learning to Love: Journeys through Life with the Rosary (2018) and
The Father Wants to Heal You: A Retreat with the Lord’s Prayer (published in April 2022).

Archbishop Scicluna Archbishop of Malta
Mgr Charles J. Scicluna was born of Emanuel and Maria Carmela née Falzon in Toronto, Canada, on 15 May 1959. The Scicluna family moved to Qormi, Malta, in 1960 and to Lija, Malta, in 1976. Mgr Scicluna was educated at Saint Sebastian Primary School, Qormi, at the Saint Joseph Secondary Technical School, Paola, and at Saint Edward’s College, Cottonera. He entered the Law Course at the University of Malta in 1976 and he graduated Doctor of Laws in 1984. After completing his Seminary studies and a Licentiate in Pastoral Theology at the Faculty of Theology, Tal-Virtù, he was ordained to the Roman Catholic priesthood by the Archbishop of Malta, Monsignor Joseph Mercieca, on 11 July 1986.
Monsignor Scicluna was sent to read Canon Law at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and obtained the doctorate in Canon Law with specialization in Jurisprudence in 1991.
After his Rome studies Mgr Scicluna worked on the Malta Metropolitan Tribunal as Defender of the Bond and was lecturer in Pastoral Theology and Canon Law at the University of Malta. He served in the parishes of Attard, Saint Gregory’s Sliema and Iklin, Lija. He also served as Vice Rector at the Major Seminary between 1994 and 1995 when he was called to the Vatican to work on the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura as Substitute Promoter of Justice. In 1996 he was appointed Postulator for the cause of beatification and canonization of Dun Ġorġ Preca. In October 2002, Monsignor Scicluna was nominated Promoter of Justice at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith detailed to investigate and prosecute the more grave crimes reserved to the exclusive competence of the Congregation.
He has also lectured widely on issues concerning child protection in the Church, visiting a number of local churches in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Australia. Mgr Scicluna is a Visiting Lecturer in Penal Processes at the Pontifical Gregorian University (Rome) and helps with chaplaincy work at the Convent of the Nuns of Saint Bridget, Piazza Farnese, and at the Venerable English College in Rome.

Father Roger J. Landry
Father Roger J. Landry is a priest of the Diocese of Fall River, Massachusetts. From 2015-2022, he served as Attaché to the Holy See’s Permanent Observer Mission to the United Nations in New York. He is the former pastor of St. Bernadette Parish in Fall River, Massachusetts and St. Anthony of Padua Parish in New Bedford, MA.
After receiving a biology degree from Harvard College, he studied for the priesthood in Maryland, Toronto and for several years in Rome. After being ordained a Catholic priest of the Diocese of Fall River by Bishop Sean O’Malley, OFM Cap. on June 26, 1999, he returned to Rome to complete graduate work in Moral Theology and Bioethics at the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family.
Fr. Landry writes for many Catholic publications, including The National Catholic Register, the Pilot and The Anchor, the weekly newspaper of the Diocese of Fall River, for which he was the executive editor and editorial writer from 2005-2012. He regularly appears on the podcast Conversations with Consequences, where he focuses each week on the consequential conversation Jesus has with us in the Gospel. He is the author of Plan of Life: Habits to Help You Grow Closer to God (Pauline Books and Media 2018).
He was appointed in 2015 a Papal Missionary of Mercy, a mandate that was extended indefinitely by Pope Francis after the conclusion of the Jubilee of Mercy. He was named in 2021 the ecclesiastical assistant of Aid to the Church in Need USA by the Vatican’s Congregation for Clergy and has been commissioned by the US Bishops a Missionary of the Eucharist for the Bishops’ 2022-24 Eucharistic Revitalization efforts. He is chaplain to the New York City Chapter of the Leonine Forum and serves as a Member of the Board of the Shrine of Our Lady of the Martyrs in Auriesville, New York.
He regularly leads pilgrimages to Rome, the Holy Land, Christian Europe and other sacred destinations and preaches several retreats a year for bishops, priests, seminarians, religious and lay faithful. He speaks widely on the thought of Popes John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francis, especially John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, and was an on-site commentator for EWTN’s coverage of the 2013 papal conclave that elected Pope Francis.
He will become chaplain for the Catholic community at Columbia University in mid-2022 and founding chaplain of the Thomas Merton Institute. His homilies, articles, lectures and other adult education materials are all found for free at CatholicPreaching.com.

Monsignor Fernando Felices Sánchez from Puerto Rico
On the last Thursday of each month The Worldpriest Global Apostolate is hosting a virtual Rosary Thursday.
In 2002 Pope John Paul II invited Catholics to pray the Mysteries of Light on Thursdays. These mysteries focus on the public life of Jesus .
Monsignor Fernando B. Felices Sánchez was born in San Juan, PR in 1953. He is a Diocesan priest. He got his BA in History from Dartmouth College, NH (1975), Juris Doctor (Harvard Law School, 1978), Masters in Theology, Boston St. John’s Seminary (1982), Licentiate in Spiritual Theology (Gregorian Univ., Rome, 2004). He was Rector and Professor at the San Juan Major Seminary (1984-1999); Chancellor of the Archdiocese of San Juan (1999-2003); Pastor of Gruta de Lourdes Parish in Trujillo Alto (2004-present), Archdiocesan Censor (2004-2020). Has written 5 books (De Camino con Santa Teresa, The Holy Rosary according to St. John Paul II (3rd edition) in Spanish, La paternidad espiritual del Sacerdote, El Santuario dela Gruta de Lourdes (1925-2005), Vía Lucis) and many articles on historical and theological themes (including 3 for the New Catholic Encyclopedia). He founded the Chaplaincy at the UPR Medical School. He has visited 103 countries, knows 4 languages (Spanish, English, French, Italian), and has preached retreats in the USA, Haiti and Puerto Rico, especially to the Missionaries of Charity of St. Mother Theresa of Calcutta. He is working on a book on the Soteriological significance of Christ’s Descent to the Dead.

Bishop Christopher Coyne
Bishop Christopher Coyne is an uncle to 11 nieces and nephews. Through the gift of his extended family, he’s additionally blessed with the love and goodness of many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A product of public education in his hometown, Bishop Coyne graduated from Woburn High School in 1976, while working through both high school and college as a dishwasher, sporting goods salesman, lifeguard, and musician. After college he worked full time as a bartender for two years before entering the seminary.
Bishop Coyne is a lifelong Patriots, Celtics and Bruins fan, a (Maine) beach bum and an avid skier and golfer.
