All the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation by our God.
Sing joyfully to the Lord, all you lands;
break into song; sing praise.
As we approach Christmas and the end of 2021, we reflect on a year of great success and fulfilment for the Worldpriest global apostolate.
On 11 June this year we witnessed a huge increase in the number of people participating in the Annual Global Rosary Relay for the Sanctification of Priests, as communications technology enabled vast numbers of people from all over the world to participate, despite the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are already well advanced in the planning of next year’s Annual Global Rosary prayer event, which will take place on 24 June 2022. Thank you to all who through much work and dedication have made this great success possible in every corner of the world.
We also celebrate the highly successful first year of the Worldpriest Virtual Rosary Thursday, in which increasing numbers of people joined in this prayer event as part of a global community united in prayer.
To begin 2022 we are already fully booked with exceptional priest prayer leaders to lead participants in prayer every month throughout the coming year. To begin 2022 and are honoured to have Bishop Christopher J. Coyne of the Diocese of Burlington in Vermont, USA, leading the event on 27 January. Invitations to join will be issued in early January and will take place via Zoom.
May we wish all, cardinals, bishops, priests, friends, benefactors, Global Rosary Relay participants, Worldpriest representatives, volunteers and members of the Worldpriest Global Apostolate team a very Happy Christmas a holy and a blessed New Year.
