Some people have asked us how exactly the Global Rosary Relay works in practice and how exactly they can best participate.

Over a twenty-four hour period on 8 June (the feast of the Sacred Heart) this year, groups of people at designated prayer locations around the world will pray the rosary and then hand over to another group until the entire globe is encircled in a spiritual prayer relay. It is all about praying for an allocated period of time and then spiritually passing on the prayer to the next prayer location. In this way millions of people will add their unique voice to what will become a tsunami of prayerfulness circumnavigating the world in a strong voice for the sanctification of our priests.

So you can join in person if there is a location near you or simply take your beads and join in prayer wherever you are. Just pray on the day!

We welcome all the new prayer locations this year and we extend our gratitude to all the participating prayer locations that are currently working so diligently to achieve a meaningful and powerful prayer outreach for their priests on this special day.

Everyone who prays – including you – is making a vital contribution to this amazing and inspiring unique event that grows bigger every year. Last year it touched the lives of some ten million people worldwide. The event this year will be broadcast by our partners Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) and other radio networks and we anticipate a huge following via Facebook Live, YouTube Live and live streaming from various prayer locations – all which may be viewed online.
