Teachers, Parents and Children

    
The World Day of Prayer for Priests takes place on Friday 19 June 2009. This is an opportunity for all to say Thank You to our priests. We are very grateful to our priests for the time and energy they give to us and our communities.
    
What can we do as Parents,Teachers,Children to celebrate this day?
    
We can help our children get involved in a simple and fun way, by doing the following:

Step 1.
Browse through the pictures, that illustrate the priesthood.

Step 2.
Download the picture of your choice (by clicking on it) and print it out.

Step 3.
Colour in carefully with colouring pencils, markers or paint.
(This is a beautiful form of prayer like icon making.)

Step 4.
Fill in the name of your priest to whom you wish to give it  and don't forget to sign your name.

Step 5.
Give your picture to your priest as a gift on Friday 19th of June 2009 or on the days that follow during the Year of the Priest
