The Seven Sacraments
Baptism
The
first of these sacraments which all of us receive is the sacrament of
Baptism in which the Church celebrates a new member being initiated
into the life of the faith community. Through the sacrament, we are
washed clean in the waters of Gods love and we start anew in the way of
the Lord. Here, the new Christian comes to share in the life, death,
and resurrection of Christ and the sacrament calls us to die to sin
every day. Everyday that we live, we recommit ourselves to our Baptism
hen we follow Christ's direction and example. (John 3:21).
