FATHER FUELLENBACH RETREAT
Fr. John Fuellenbach is a Divine Word Missionary. He taught Fundamental Theology at the Gregorian University, at the Beda College and at Regina Mundi in Rome. He teaches at the moment at the School of Theology in St Augustin, Germany. He holds a doctorate from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. For seven years he taught at the Divine Word Seminary School of Theology in Tagaytay, Philippines and for shorter periods in a variety of places like Theological Union in Chicago, Theological Union in Melbourne, and Regional Seminar in Davao City, Philippines. For 12 years he was the director of the SVD Renewal Center in Nemi near Rome.
In addition to his teaching career, he conducts seminars, workshops and retreats for different groups over the last 30 years. His range of activities is worldwide extending to places like the East Asian Pastoral Institute in Manila and different Renewal and Pastoral Centers in Africa, Asia, USA, Canada, and Europe.
He has written several books among them:. Proclaiming his Kingdom (Manila: Logos Publication, 4th ed., 1994. Seventh printing 2004): The Kingdom of God Jesus Central Message ( Maryknoll New York: Orbis Books 1995) and Throw Fire (Manila: Logos Publications, 2nd edition, 1998, tenth printing 2008). The latest Church: Community for the Kingdom (Maryknoll New York: Orbis Books 2002).
